Krispy Kreme

Working with a long-term client FHA Architects provided the design and documents for the construction of freestanding shops
located from Grand Forks, North Dakota to Tucson, Arizona. The locations were identified as factory stores as they provided
doughnuts for walk-in/drive up customers as well as supplying grocery, c-store, and other retailers in the metropolitan area.
Krispy Kreme also has a satellite store identified as a “cold store” that can be located in smaller retail locations.

The most recent Krispy Kreme was located in The Fisherman’s Wharf district of San Francisco. Krispy Kreme used this location as a specialty shop in a highly traveled tourist area of San Francisco. The store is was a factory store and the design was geared to the tourist to be used as an advertisement for the brand.
